The Stowe Farm: Earthen Plaster Walls project in Colrain, MA highlights the beauty and performance of natural finishes in sustainable design. Completed in 2020, this renovation focused on enhancing interior spaces through the use of clay plaster by American Clay, a natural, non‑toxic material known for its breathability, durability, and timeless aesthetic.
The earthen plaster provides a warm, textured finish that improves indoor air quality by regulating humidity and reducing airborne pollutants. Its natural pigments and subtle sheen create a calming atmosphere while celebrating the handcrafted artistry behind each wall.
